A Court of Thorns and Roses is the first book in a popular fantasy romance series. It follows Feyre, a young huntress struggling to support her impoverished family. When she kills a wolf in the woods, she unknowingly breaks a treaty with the faeries and is taken captive by Tamlin, a powerful High Fae. Feyre is brought to the magical land of Prythian, where she uncovers dark secrets, dangerous politics, and a growing curse that threatens both the fae and human worlds. As she navigates peril and passion, she must find the courage to break the curse before it’s too late. The story is known for its lush world-building, steamy romance, and thrilling adventure.
